Profile on Marvin Kehler
Dr. Marvin P. Kehler was born in Altona, Manitoba, Canada in 1938. At the age of 14 his family moved to British Columbia where he continues to reside with his wife Katherine.
Over the years Marvin has been actively involved in the business arena. His involvement has included positions of President or Director in the industrial, developmental and agricultural sectors. A few of these include the oil and mining industries, land development and poultry farming. After reaching his financial goals at the age of 32, Marvin, while continuing his business ventures, also became involved in Christian ministries.
Since 1974 when Marvin shifted the majority of his energies to focus on Christian ministries, his most notable involvements include holding the position of President of Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada for 28 years (1974 to 2002) and the Executive Director position of Campus Crusade for Christ, Western Europe for five years. Following that Marvin served as President of New Life World Aid and GAIN for four years.

With God’s guidance, during Marvin's 28-year tenure as President of Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada, he and the staff and volunteers under his leadership were able to help share with over a billion people how they could personally have a relationship with Jesus.
Marvin has often been recognized publicly for his leadership abilities and accomplishments. A few of these recognitions include:
- In 1993, his biography was published in British Columbia's Who's Who book.
- In 1995, his biography was published in the Who’s Who of the United States of America.
- In 1994, Marvin received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Briercrest Bible Institute.
Today, Marvin and his wife Katherine continue to reside in Aldergrove, British Columbia and in their free time they enjoy golfing, spending time with their family, and gardening. Their hobbies during their children's formative years included many athletic activities such as water and snow skiing and their most memorable summer hobby was competing in horse shows along the Pacific Northwest. Marvin and Katherine still enjoy attending these horse shows as spectators, although they have found that competitng with their family was far more exciting.
