When I first read “How to Win Friends & Influence People” by Dale Carnegie, I had no idea that I had just picked up a book that was originally published in 1936… and that its popularity had endured for nearly a century, selling more than 30 million copies.
If you’ve read it, then you know that it deserves the attention. It’s Dale Carnegie’s magnum opus on the power of attitude for influencing others.
But he wrote a lot of other books as well, all of which were jam-packed with wisdom and his knack for phrasing things in such a way that you can’t help but pause and think.
Below are 57 of his best quotes of all time. We’ve organized them by topic so it’s easier to navigate.
By the way, you should know that inside my ‘Secrets of Success’ community, you can access our entire library — which includes never-before-published books by Napoleon Hill, unbroadcast recordings from Earl Nightingale, 15 hours of audio books from Dale Carnegie, and lots more!
